Default Another Clutch Issue!!!

So I have been searching on here and cant seem to find a topic on this quiet fit my exact problem so I'm looking for any information that could help.

So i just bought my 91 stealth es about 2 weeks ago and on purchase i was told that it had a new clutch, on the test drive everything seemed find except the clutch was like no effort to push down. Through the little view window on the transmission you can see a bright blue clutch so I believed the seller. He did tell me that he put the clutch in and that he couldn't remember what stage clutch it is but he bought it off ebay.

Now under hard acceleration the clutch slips 1st thru 5th dosnt matter the gear. If you just put along the car is fine i just drove it 3 hrs at 80 mph on cruise with no issues. But from a dead stop forget it. I have checked the clutch pedal play and there is 0. But i have noticed the clutch does not grab until its almost all the way out.

SOME ONE PLEASE HELP ME!

Ok so I adjusted the clutch under the dash with a little improvement. Car will drive down the road now but still slips at like 1/2 throttle or more.

You may have to adjust it some more. Its a fine line between too loose and having poor release and too tight and causing slipping.

It may have been driven too long with it misadjusted and the new clutch is cooked.

When all else fails, its trans pulling time.
