Question VR4 Shifter Problems

I have a 92 VR4 the shifter is very notchy/resistance in every gear.
Not so when the car is not moving and you shift through the gears.

I put in the under hood bushings but still no improvement.

Is the problem in my shifter, the linkage itself ?

Will a short throw solve the problem ?

Any help would be greatly appreciated !

Thanks

Try adjusting you clutch pedal underneath the dash.

Do a advanced search on Clutch Pedal Adjustment and you will come across threads with pics and procedure.

Other than that I would look at the hydrolics (slave and master cylinder).

It sounds like the problem in the shifter itself or the shift rails inside the box. Try first messing with the shifter but I think that the rail or syncr may be the real problem.

Put the car in 1st, with the clutch IN. Rev. Do you move forward?
