Recall is not on the fluid, it is for poorly designed cases/seals that caused leaks. If you go and they see no evidnce of leaking you will be on your merry way. If leaks are present they replace it with the new seal kit.

Is there now a NEW updated recall going out to dealers stating that they must replace the TC no matter what? Never heard of that one

I have a 91vr4 and i just had my whole transmission rebuilt last year... I mean everything, total including labor was around 5500 dollars. I just sent sunrise mitsubishi an email in regards to your posts. Think my chances of getting my money back for at least the parts are fiesable.???????? PLEASE GOD I HOPE SO!!

You don't send your claims to the dealer, you send them to Mitsubishi. The address is posted on earlier comments.
