They are reimbursing me for the tranny and the transfer case as well as the labor. My original claim was for $5000.00 appx. That was for the clutch too and they won't reimburse on it.

Do you guys have copies of the letter on this stuff? I mean that they are reimbursing you for the stuff letter...

Refer to previous posts and see a copy of the recall letter. In response to that letter I simply wrote my own letter asking for a reimbursement and sent proof of payment.

no no no, not the recall letter, i got that, i'm talking about the letter you guys got when they sent you reimbursement or theletter that says their apologies or something.

I haven't got the letter yet, just the verbal from Mits. I should be getting my letter with in two weeks.

Im the second owner of my stealth TT....I never got any kind of notice. Anyone have an address to mail mitsu at.....about issues with Transfer case?

Yea I have a copy of the letter. I'm not going to post it. It says they are in receipt of my letter/claim and have carefully reviewed it and will reimburse me for a partial reimbursement and not the full claim. In other words not the clutch. They state the reason why on the clutch and give me a total amount of $4,568.97. It says to expect it within 2 weeks.

Hey everyone,

My dealer is telling me that there is a recall for my transfer case *fluid* and not for the transfer case itself. He says that the original fluid was found to be corrosive to the seals and they will replace the fluid for free, but not the transfer case as it is not leaking. Does anyone have any info on this?
