Transfer Case Officially Recalled - Page 43 - 3000GT/Stealth International Message Center

As far as I know not all VR-4 and TT's are for recall. Just like you can see on recall reports, only number of cars are defective.

dropped my car off today at the dealer so they can look at it

he showed me what the 2 recalls were

1- a brake hose

2- a stack of papers, basically a huge instruction booklet on the transfer case

hopefully all goes well....

just got off the phone w/ the dealer

parts are ordered and car will be done tomorrow
he said i was getting a new transfer case... guess i'm getting the old one, ah well

hope that doesn't mean, the recall is taken care of for your car.(old style T-case)

I'm guessing that is the original 1991 recall...since i see you have a '91...

if they do come out w/ a new one i'm guessing i can just go in to get that done too?.... hopefully hehe

I looked at the reacll for it and there are no instructions, it just says pay $34 and they will research more on the site. So is there an acctual recall yet or just a request for one.

Just filed highway safety complain.Filed that my TC is leaking and car locked up on me on highway at 70mph.Guys we need to get this F@#$%^ recall ASAP.If you havent call them yet,please DO so.It will take 3 mins and the more file,the more pressure we can develop.The phone number is 1-888-327-4236.

I called them, the dumb bitch I taked, sent me a complaint from that says my breaks, and not my transfer case. Dumb no english speaking bitch. Now I have to call them back and complain again. Oh well, I hope mitsu gets there shit together soon.

They probably just told us it was going to happen to placate us until time runs out on these cars and they do not have to do anything. I went to two dealers, and one guy laughed and said its never going to happen and the other service manager said they have a letter about a recall pending, but no number so their hands are tied.
