Hey Dan, Thank you for the info,

I will call the number today, and tell them.

I am not sure if this is gonna make any difference, because I am calling from Canada, but anything helps I guess.

I thought I was gonna die, really.
I hope the recall will come soon.

Do you know which number to call for the Mitsubishi? I don't wanna get this accident again. Oh. I am not sure if I can sue them for stuff like this. well, I didn't get any damage to myself bodily, but was scary.

Uh, I doubt they'll care once they find out you're from Canada. I also don't have a number for Mitsu, but I'm sure that calling them would be a severe waste of time

I thought somewhere back on this thread there was a number to call in Canada. I don't have time to research it, but when you do, I suggest you look back.

For those new to this thread, the DOT number is posted on page 21, by Rick B, about the middle of the page.

Default Ok another bad news..

I just called Chrysler hotline today regarding this recall and they said they will give me the call back after they get in touch with mitsubishi... They give me a call back late in the afternoon and they said the parts will not be out for another 6 month. They said it is still process of testing.... This is going crazy.. My car will die soon. I know my car is not in good condition especially in TC area... it's leaking bad!!!!!

I just got my car back with its brand-new x-fer case!! So CDN's their is hope. Just call Daimler-Chrysler Canada and report your problem and they will take it from their.

DON"T CALL A DEALER!!! THEY DO NOT KNOW SHIT!!!

Make sure you tell them that the oil has leaked out, and also add tell them how it has locked up on you, they will ask you to go to a dealer to have it cheacked out. Ohhh, you won't get a courtesy car and it may take up to 3 weeks, thats how long it was for me.

I've been talking to transport canada and daimler chrysler canada A LOT over the last few days. This has probably been said in this post before, but at least make sure you call the Daimler Chrysler Canada and register yourself as the current owner.
1-800-465-2001 in Canada.... and I believe the number is
1-800-853-1403 for you U.S. guys.

Still no solution for me, but I do at least have a used transfer case on the way. Who knows if I will get a refund for that eventually...but at least I can drive my car again.
