I was on the highway today, and mine went bye bye...!!! ###ING SCARY!

it happened to me 2 days ago too!!!
i replaced an used one on few months ago, and it's cracked again!! total driving time was less than a month (i was away from the country)
one day the transfer case will really get me killed...

Gee whiz. Both of you guys (Curt and AJimbo) with transfercase lockups are from Vancouver. I just got my car back from a transfer case rebuild. That's at least 4 of us (including 6g72tt) in Vancouver with transfer case problems.

Ok, without having to plow through 26 pages of messages, do we have an official full recall yet? Another words, can I take it in to the dealership to get it done right now?
