Yes, it applies to every one!
Recall’s are for the vehicles, no the owners, the dealer will run the vin# of your car and he will be able to determine if the recall was done on your car or not. (I the case of this recall, none of the cars are done) But you should check with your local dodge dealer, as there was a recall for the front break lines! |

Considering this is effecting approx 25000 VR-4's and Stealth TT's, I bet they do have their ass in gear. Although, its going to be interesting to see what remedy since there are still quite a few TT's out there and you know how companies are about saving $$.
Hell, my car has been garaged almost a year because of my bearings getting torn up from a leak. |

I did a search on the recall database thing. For all of you wanting to know how it is coming with the recall on our transfer cases, this is how it stands
Year: 1992 Make: MITSUBISHI Model: 3000GT Recall Date: 06/03/2002 Type of Report: Vehicle Potential Number of Units Affected: 15000 Defect Summary: VEHICLE DESCRIPTION: PASSENGER VEHICLES. A CONDITION EXISTS THAT ALLOWS OIL TO LEAK FROM THE ALL-WHEEL DRIVE TRANSFER CASE. Consequence Summary: LOW OIL LEVELS IN THE TRANSFER CASE COULD CAUSE BEARING DAMAGE AND RESULT IN DRIVE TRAIN LOCKUP, INCREASING THE RISK OF A CRASH. Corrective Summary: A PROPOSED REMEDY AND OWNER NOTIFICATION SCHEDULE HAS NOT YET BEEN PROVIDED. Basically they have still yet to give a date where the recall will be in place. Though this doesnt help any of you, at least you can check this out for your own cars. I'm sure some of you know the site, but for those of you who dont its www.nhtsa.dot.gov Then go to recall, and you are on your way. Well I was bored so i looked it up, sue me! Oh ya, only 15k vr4's in the world huh? I feel special ![]()

THE MITSU BY MY NEIGHBORHOOD SAYS THAT MY RECALL HAS BEEN PREFORMED IN 1998.... IF THE RECALL WAS ISSUED IN 2002 HOW THE FUCK DID THEY DO THE RECALL ON THE TRANSFER CASE(UNLESS THEY ARE PSYCIC) IN 1998???? WHAT THE HELL??? WHO CAN I COMPLAIN TOO? AND HOW DO I GO ABOUT DOIN THAT?
