Wow, i must admit, i never thought thsi was gonna happen when I read about it a few days ago. Now what the recall will cover and when it will come out is a whole different story, i wonder if it will only be for certain parts and if we're screwed if other parts are broken or worn out that are not on the recall. Hopefully it will be for the darn stinkin thing. This couldn't have come at a better time since i thi k my brother might have blown mine yesterday
I wonder if my father can get Reimbursed for the one I replaced on his car a few moonths ago.
Misterpeanut,
Long time since I've seen you on the board As soon as Eduardo calls me & sends me an email with the detailed info, I'll pass it on to you all Later!
If the transfer is leaking they replace it for free. If not then they do nothing at all. The recall is low type so this means if there is a problem they will do it otherwise not. This belongs to cars that are not more than 10 years old. Info is from Mitsu Europe.
Chunsangp,
Canadians are Exempted from the recall! j/k... Well, I guess my 91 won't be seeing a new t-case I guess I'll just sue them when I spin out off the road at 70 mph cause of a t-case leak or lock up.
I have a question though. According to the VIN #, when did the 92's start? I'm wondering if my 91 is actually a 92 according to the VIN.....
They will still replace it if your car is modded right?
