My spec stage 2 clutch, paired with a fidanza lightweight flywheel, was on my car for about 25,000 with mild driving. Only started slipping on me about a month ago. It was an awesome street clutch, and never gave me any problems other than the occasional sore calf in heavy traffic.

I dont think Spec has a stage 2+ clutch. I think you might be reffering to the stage 3+. My transmission and tcase are being pulled on monday and will be sent off to Kormex in exchange for their rebuilt products, and when they come back, I will be installing a stage 3+ clutch along with them.

There is a SPEC Stage 2+ *AND* 3+. You will pay more but basically it's a clutch that has the streetability of the 2 or the 3 (what ever you choose) but more holding power.

I've had both the SPEC Stage 2 and 3+ with good results. What mods do you have or plan to have?

From what I read (just got a stage 2 installed by ESP, very happy) the stage2+ only holds like 515 as opposed to 500 with the regular stage two, I dont remember it being much different. I love my stage 2, was getting chatter at first but that was due to me messing up the first time I engaged it and was not prepared for the quick engagement, its not chattering now that I have broken it in a bit more. Dont forget to get your rear main seal inspected/replaced while your in there.

No. 2 = 500 CTQ and 2+ = 530CTQ

Not that much of a diff. The difference at stage 3 is much more.
