I have had no problems so far with my fidanza... Didn't seem cheap at all to me. But what do I know?

I would spend the few extra dollars and get the RPS or Unorthodox, though I remember reading about the starter ring separating from the unorthodox a while ago I don't know if they've fixed that

I've had my Fidanza for over 60K and no problems. I hope I didn't just jinx it.

Same here; had mine for around 40k now with no issues. Guess I have been lucky.

if i am not mistaken the fidanza flywheel has alignment dowels that are slightly tapered so as to be pressed in when first installed to a pressure plate. maybe this is the reason yours came apart since they are not supposed to be removed and reinstalled like conventional alignment dowels.(might require new dowels)
i have had mine for 2 years 20k no problems yet. Mine looked great and spec. was right on with my factory one. I dont believe it could be that horrible if it is SFI. RATED, just my opinion. but this is only on the arguement of alluminum flywheels. steel flywheels are totaly different discussion. and I am not saying that either rps or fidanza is better or worse, just that the fidanza does serve its job for most at a reasonable price.

they changed the design as far as I know, it didn't used to have the taper
