Default short throw shifter

What short throw shifter are most people using? I have used two different kinds but they seem not to work very well.

just keep your eye open on the for sale threads. That's what I did. Other than that I don't know where you would find one.

I have the UP STS it's pretty cool but it's kinda tight and 5th gear is a little tough to get into quickly.

I also own this one (picked it up from 3SX) and what a difference it has made. Not only is it lower in height, shorter in throw, but solved alot of my shifting problems as well. It is alot easier to get into reverse and fifth now. It took me a bit to get the feel for it, (didn't quite feel like it was always in gear). My '91ES still has the original shifter in it and though it is easier pressure wise to shift, the throw is arms length versus wrist twist.

Is it the same with the bearing loaded short shifter that 3sx have or is it a completely different one?
