Default Recipe for best 6 speed transmission

I'm about to build a new 6 speed transmission, so besides looking for all the parts I might require I'm also asking what I should do to make it perfect.
I have the following suggestions:
1. Beef up the plate (bellhousing plate) to prevent it from cracking. Inspired by this thread
2. Install aftermarket front differential. I was thinking of the Quaife unit, but other suggestions are welcome. Maybe a clutch type differential like Kaaz? What would be the benefit of torsen over clutch type or visa versa?
3. Then a stronger output shaft, like the 300M unit sold by supercar engineering. I've aways seen the outputshafts of my old trannies die from torsion. So this unit goes in
4. Replace transmission forks. I've never experienced (in any car) broken transmission forks, but I can imagine what happens when things go wrong in this area
5. Then I would like to make the 6th gear longer, can you buy aftermarket gearsets for this transmission? The JDM final drive conversion makes all the gears shorter so thats no option.
6. Place a pump + cooler on the transfer case. I just don't trust this unit from day 1. It's small and gets lubricated by a shitty beerglass of oil. The transfer case is always hot when we race the car. How about a good electric oil pump and a small cooler with some cooler & extra oil
7. Transfercase bracket. I've seen these for the 5 speeds, but I need one for the 6 speed
8. Carbon driveshaft. Removing rotational weight is always a good idea. Are these already available for the 6 speeds? Carbon or aluminum?

What else can be done to the 3000GT drivetrain to gain power and win reliability?

Default Re: Recipe for best 6 speed transmission

soudns like a winning plan , they make a six speed bracket , ive seen a six speed tranny fork go and its not pretty makes a nice hole in the block . they do make the drive shafts , but if you wanna go cheaper my local driveshaft shop offered to make me one out of aluminum for 300 bucks and as far as reliability lol ...... not much their they will always be the weak point unless you buy a dogbox from supercar
