Yes, the parts 3SX sells for the Getrag are OEM Mitsu/Getrag Straight from Japan. No chinese transaxle parts.
Personally, I would change that gear out. It will cause engagment problems. Both the dogs on the gear and teeth on the slider need to be sharp/to a point in order for the gear to engage quickly and smoothly without grind. If they are flattened/chipped you will not have smooth engagement.
