Default Rear Axle Removal

Does anyone have a good technique to remove the rear axles from the differential? I already tried pry bar and chisel with hammer and they still would not come out. Manual say there is a C-clip in there. Going to try again tomorrow ...

yea u got it. Pry bar, shouldn't need a hammer, just proper placement of pry bar, I use a long flat head that has the the end angled, similar to a cro-bar, idk how to spell that. But the shafts come out just like the ones in the front, little pressure and the c-clip will pop.

finally got them out. the trick was getting the chisel into the right place and using the impact action from the hammer to budge that c-ring. couple of taps and it came right out.
