Default quick tranny question

im in the middle of a tranny swap, but cannot get the fuckin downpipe off. is there any possible way to get the tranny out without moving the downpipe?

the downpipe is in the way of the transfercase bolts so i dont know if its possible. but maybe if you take the first part of the drive shaft off you might be able to sneek the trans out with it on

yeah...tried that for about 5 minutes then ran to town to get a torch

maybe if you wanted to cut off the downpipe? Why cant you get the downpipe off?

the nuts havent been touched in 12 years....nothing a little heat couldnt fix though...they're all off now
