Default This normal for a Transfer Case?

A year ago I had my transfer case rebuilt for a hefty $2500 and having the car up on the hoist today I noticed there's a lot of oil and crap around it, I don't have any drips on my shed floor where the car is parked a lot of the time so I'm curious if this is a problem or not?

That looks fresh. I would be concerned. Check to see if its gear oil or engine oil. This is the spot where rear main seals will show a leak from.

-Dismantle Transfer case and repair input spline and reasmble - $250
-New clutch kit A126219 - $650
-Machine Flywheel - $44
-Oils - $31
-300M Output shaft - $1000

I would wipe it off and see if any comes back. If you overfill a TC then it comes out the vent and looks just like yours does. Doesnt mean that its leaking, just means they put a hair to much fluid in it when they filled it.
