Default Nelson 5-spd X-Case Bracket

I have a transfer case bracket from Nelson Performance Pro but it didn't come with any extended bolts...does anyone know if the original bolts will be fine or if I should go look for some longer bolts?

Thanks,

yeah i have the same bracket, just use the original ones they work fine for me.....just becareful installing it on your TC cause its slightly off center, i used a press.

Also u have to install the bottom bolt that screws into the trans with the bracket or else once its on your case you wont get it in at all without some modification.

I am pretty sure you will need extended bolts. OEM ones are too short and may start, but not tighten enough to have enough threads threaded in.

Edit: Really vicious? I know the maximal ones come with longer bolts and the nelson bracket is bigger then his I beleive.

your only talking about an 1/8th of an inch. maybe less, his case isnt thick its just more complex than maximals. I have it bolted in, even with it out th bolts still had a lot of threads to grab onto.

EDIT: im sure longer bolts would be the right thing to do but my stock bolts r doin good for me.

I've just installed it with stock bolts for now...there seemed to be a lot of threads to grip with..I will get some extended bolts sometime.

Looks good and went on pretty easily. Took a couple light taps with a rubber mallet to get the bracket on all the way and lined up.
