You should be seeing tracking info from us once we ship the unit out on Tuesday.

Hello, I'm not really into the retail market, so I can't sell this stuff for the price these guys do:

Supercar Engineering

Their prices seem to be pretty fair and the one I use is the $585 unit which is why our higher end rebuilds are more expensive as they include the cool parts like those 300M shafts. Thanks!

Jack

Well, the tranny arrived from Kormex three days after payment across the country (CA to CT) but, it's taking longer to go from the palate to the car. The shop got delayed and can't put it in til next week so update still coming.

Well, not terrible but not great news. When the shop was putting fluid in the tranny after the install there was a leak/crack around the nipple of the case. The shop said it was no big deal and a simple weld would take care of it but I wanted them to contact Frank at Kormex to make sure that this would not void any warrantee. This is apparantly part of the inspection at Kormex so...... maybe it happened in shipping since it is an open palate shipment. The shop said it was small and that noone would know unless they put fluid in it. Kormex said it would stand behind the tranny one way or another. The weld happens today. Will post results.

I can tell you that the 25spline output shaft and coupler is a $500 part alone, before labor. It took me longer to pull the trans than it did to replace the output shaft, I did it the right way + I had to do my rear main seal, don't make my mistake, REPLACE it, mine leaked 1 week after changing my clutch and flywheel. THe coupler might take longer to change, I have to buy some black iron to press the gears off of it. I think that's a good deal for the rebuild, the 2/3 syncros were $295 at 3sx. Big money in these trannies.
