Also, Jack's has three levels of rebuild and Kormex has one (at least one listed) so it's a little confusing. The $600 plus parts rebuild from the guy in MD is just worn parts. I think, but am not sure, that the Kormex rebuild may be more complete than the Jack's economy rebuild. I'm leaning toward Kormex. Tough decision when I have no knowledge about this stuff.

Yep Joe does a ton of rebuilds for me and TTstealthracing. Prices are constanly changing due to SOME TRANS SHOPS monopolizing the market, hording the parts, jacking up prices, and not revealing their suppliers, ;-)
but hey alls fair.

Tranny arrived yesterday from Kormex, very much on time. Swap today (at Pruven Performance). The old one will go back on the palate for pickup (for core refund). I'll report progress. So far very easy with very little down time.

Did Kormex send any info about what they did- new parts, condition of the internals, stuff like that? And, did they have any comments about new synchros- OEM organic lining vs. whatever the aftermarket is? Yeah, by all means let us know how things go with the install and that first test drive!

Hey, thanks! I just got a shipment of 25 spline 300M shafts in the other day and installed one in your trans so you never have to worry about it again. Be aware that these shafts look dark red in color, so it is not dirty or anything just part of the treating it goes through. You should be seeing tracking info from us once we ship the unit out on Tuesday.

Jack
