Default Loose Drive shaft

When i shift gears and step on the gas pedal, my drive shaft feels really lose like something is banging on the bottom of the car. Of if i'm just coasting and hit the gas real quick i get the same response. I was told it might be the carrier bearings on the drive shaft, which i got replaced. But that didn't change anything... What possible could it be? and what should I do??

Have you checked the condition of your motor mounts?

Where are you located? I'm sure you could find someone local on the boards.

Checking the motor mounts ... hmm ... I honestly am not sure. I would say removal and inspection but there has to be another way.

Although removing the side mounts are really not hard at all.

I live in northern new jersey. 07421
Anyone close who has experience on these cars would be great!

I Just installed a front mount intercooler, the front bumper is off and the hood is off... if that would help.

get a friend (you trust), pull the ebrake, have him switch from first to reverse and start to let the clutch out a little. See how much the engine moves.
