I was told tocheck if a first gen car has a 25 spline you must check the face with the bolts. If there is a bolt near the center next to the getrag logo then its a 25spline. Is that true?

No, I'm not the original owner, but the previous owner had the car since 96 and he didnt change it. The TC recall has not been done on the car yet, and carfax showed no such service being done (it did show everything down to suspension work). It could have been swapped by the first owner, but i dont see it being done on a new to 4 year old car, unless it was done by a dealer. Either way I'm happy i didnt blindly order the 18 spline 300m shaft.
