That price is for the three ring set though. I priced the set from AutoCraft two weeks ago at about $142 for all three. That isn't a very big difference. In my experience the JDM prices seem to change as much as AutoCraft's do.

The difference is, Mitsubishi won't sell you just the friction ring. You have the buy all 3 pieces as a kit.

Are they dropping the rebuild business or just refusing to sell parts?

As far as I know, their rebuild contract with Mitsu is terminated. They also did Mitsu's ATXs.

hmmmm bill said they didnt want to loose the other mitsu rebuild contracts but i guess ours where enough of a problem for them to say fuck mitsu completly

where can we get synchros from now? I know 1-2nd from supercar engineering, what about the others though?

Yeah I just got wind of this today actually. A company bought a crap load of stuff from AutoCraft and AutoCraft is still boxing up the rest to send back to Getrag. I had just talked to a guy from Getrag about getting that contract also. He said AutoCraft was going to keep it. I guess some thing bad happened with negotiations at the last minute..... So I will be trying to get the contract again. We'll see what happens.

In the mean time, there is always Mentor, Kormex, 2nd hand stuff through other members, and a few other suppliers I ran accross today. I'm still waiting for the dust to settle before I update the first post with contact info.

I know there are people hard at work on various synchros, great job. I am wondering about a part like the input shaft bearing/seal. I don't remember reading that a company like applied had that sort of bearing??
