Default Re: Getrag 440/446 parts.

I have been searching for the last week for W6MG1-0-FNBR synchronizers and the 'single use' parts for a rebuild.

I have not yet initiated phone calls but all email queries out to Kormex and Team RIP have been met with dead silence this week. I have an email out to CRS to see what inventory they may have remaining. I hoping to be able to pick up at least some of the parts and 'hope' I can lay hands on others eventually.
We'll see....

I'm about to pull the trigger on a remanufacture from Mitsubishi soon. I can't wait much longer for 'a fix' to my shifting issues.

Remanufacture is the key word. You can get these from Mitsubishi as remans? If that is the case, mitsubishi sure knows how to get parts.... right? Why cant we figure out where Mitsubishi gets parts to remanufacture.... or where or who the remanufuctures (???) really are?

CRS does the remans for Mitsu. CRS gets part from Getrag in MI. Getrag only sells in bulk. That is what this thread is all about. To get a list together from Getrag with all the Getrag part numbers for all the parts to the transaxles (and may be the transfer cases) as well as prices and the minimum quantity of each part that has to be ordered.

So is CRS gonna stop doing remans since it is running out of parts?

It doesnt say that CRS remans trannies does it? Brett just said they did... so I guess they are gonna discontinue the reman process tho since the parts that run out. If it turns out that CRS doesnt reman our trannies, then who does, and where do they get the parts from?

Whatever I just hope the problem gets fixed.

I am still able to buy in bulk from Getrag and sell to the 3/S community for very reasonable prices, if you guys can get minimum order #s and prices, etc. That would make it that much easier.

Ok, I dont know a thing about our trannys or how they work but I am a good friend of Ray Pampena. He is the creator of the 300M output shaft, well at least hes the one that had it made. I remember him telling me that its no simple task to re-create stock parts. Things like they we they are balanced, tolerances, and the whole engineering process behind it is what makes it difficult. Hence $600.00 for an output shaft. Ray has opened a shop and no longer works for mitsu so ill mention the idea tranny parts to him again or just let him know about this post.

On a side note:

A member of my club is in dire need of an input shaft bearing, can anyone help. Cant find the part anywhere.
