PM me with your cell #. I can see if I can go down there with the sleeve and the shift fork after school (2:40) and before (4), so I can get to Island dragway as soon as it opens. Or just call me at (908)627-2885. If I dont hear from you, we will have to meet another day, and let Hans look at the parts. |

Alright here's a question:
if my endcase is sitting on my workbench, with my input and intermediate shafts w/ shift forks installed in the endcase, how hard should it be to engage/disengage all gears? I ask because 1/2 is much easier to disengage than the others. There's a thread about this getting no responses .. thought I would pose the question here. ![]() -Ryan (on trevor's name)

Here is a link to a site that sells rebuild kits for our trannys. I ordered a bearing kit up here in Canada from one of there suppliers when I did my 5 speed a couple of years ago. I talked to the co. in the USA about syncros and they said they have kits with them in.

Interesting. I'm sure Jeff will give them a call. Looks like from their site they are a distributer/reseller and not a manufacturer, so I suspect like all the other shops they were probably getting parts from CRS as well.
Push come to shove... if we eventually loose all hope of getting basic parts like new syncros... if someone can CMM scan a set I can get them made locally. $$$ though. Quote:
