Why do you think you need to replace the inner and outer ring, they are are hardened steel vs. the bronze material on the friction ring. Have you measured wear on the rings or are you replacing them 'just in case'.

I've seen a couple of posts to that affect but it sure doesn't seem like a big issue. Same with shift forks --- I think you need to work at it to break those items !!!!!

Cool Re: Getrag 440/446 parts.

I've ordered seals from CRS in the past by giving them part #s from their Getrag 446 parts diagram, but I'm having a hard time reading the diagram for inner syncro ring part #s.

Can we just tell CRS what we're looking for, or do they require the part #s? If so, would someone mind posting the CRS #s for the inner syncro rings for the 6 speed (all gears)?

Thanks,

As near as I can tell, it's C48.

Cool Re: Getrag 440/446 parts.

After rereading my post, I see my question sucks. I'm having a hard time cross referencing between the CAPS diagram (which I can see clearly), and the CRS diagram (which I can't figure out how to zoom in on).

I'm looking for CRS #s for the friction rings (not the inner steel rings) for all the gears of my W6MG1.

So, ( as I squint at the diagram) C48 is the friction ring for 6 gear, correct? Would you post the CRS #s for the other friction rings?

Thanks again for the help.

Has anyone ordered syncros from crs lately?

How long does it take to get them?

Try my 6-speed cross reference.

It may not be perfect, but it's pretty damn close.
