I was just kidding about the scanning.... but I wouldnt argue against it either

Anyway man you have done alot, and I appreciate it. Your links are fucking great, and I 100% commend you for sharing them. With a few more known specs, we would have all that is needed to be known. I do believe, provided the torque specs Brinkman published are correct.. that we do contain as much as the necessary data really needed to rework these things relaibly. It would be nice if that book said where to get parts quick and fast for cheap tho! Some procedures would be neat to see no doubtedly.

Rob

Hell I tried payin you for that pic you took for me a while back for me when I wanted to verify which way that hub/slider was positioned.... but you refused it pretty forcefully. The offer is still open if you want it?

Yes, there are notable exceptions, but the vast majority haven't even bothered to say thanks.

On the bright side, I'm looking at rebuilding these things for a reasonable cost. I'm checking on set-up costs right now.

I have access to parts

I have access to equipment

I have access to factory service specs

I'd say that's worth a few scheckels, wouldn't you?

I appreciate the offer, but I'll still say no.

I'm still going to do my part to help people, but in a much different way now.

I worked very long and hard, and spent a lot of cash, to get this book. That's why nobody is getting a copy of it. It's also a competitive edge if I decide to go into business rebuilding them.

I have no doubt that Bret's information is correct. He's done a hell of a job getting information up to this point.

I may not even stick around. I'm still unsure if coming back to 3SI is even worth the trouble for me. Gonna have to weigh my options...see how much demand there is for it. We'll see.

Cool man. You should do the biz thing if that is what your interests are and it could make a living for yourself.

As long as you keep your links up I am all good and congrats on your new piece of literature.

Thanks again for what you have done,

Rob

Wow! Great to have you back Gate. If you deside to start rebuilding these let me know. I'll start refering people to you. I found another member in TN that does rebuilds. 3SX is also starting to get into the rebuild business. It would be great to have several options around the country to save shipping cost for our fellow members... I have to learn Japanesse.....

If any one wants to know where to get parts from then I edited the first post of this thread. Just read the first post and you will be up to date.

Why do you presume to know what we sell ?

If you where to say "I Think " or "I understand that " ,but you mainly talk as an authority on subjects that you dont know . I would rather you dont mention our company .

Look , Rather then to have me correct your assumptions ,why dont you just insert that "it is your understanding" every time you are going to write about something that you dont have first hand knowledge of .
