I might. Looking at the parts diagram, it looks like the shift mechanism cannot be broken down. I think I have a leak coming from where the shaft enters the case. Is there a seal surrounding that shaft that's replaceable without replacing the entire assy.?

Howard, if you could get this stuff quickly that would be nice too. Can you post your prices so I can compare to that of Oleg?

Here is a list of parts I would like to purchase:

CRS Mits Description
C11 MR166914 4th Gear Synchro (MANDATORY)
C33 MR166875 Roll pin (pending on price, dont need thrust washer)
C35 MR166921 Snap Ring (pending on price)
B66 MR165355 (MR837026) Case Plug (pending on price)

Thanks,
Rob

Rob,

Sorry about the long wait. Holidays always screw up my ability to get info on non U.S. parts.
MR166914 $60.40 3 to 4 weeks
MR165355 $3.96 About 1 week as U.S. is out of stock.

MR166875 & MR166921 3 to 4 weeks.
I'm waiting on my contact for pricing.

Sorry...wish I could be of more help and have better news for you.

Regarding shipping:
About the only way I can help and say thanks to everyone is to offer Free Shipping on all Standard Size-UPS Ground orders of $250.00 or larger.
This includes the ability to mix regular Mitsu parts and our Aftermarket parts with your order as well. So if all you want is a $3.96 Getrag part but need other things who am I to say no. Standard shipping will be FREE.
Also I'll ship in 2 releases so that quick turn parts get to you ASAP.

You do have to mention your 3SI membership to get this offer as its only available to the 3SI Community.

If orders were to be ridiculously large I will look at each one individually and try and give a deal where possible. Remember I'm at cost plus 20%GP which is only 10% more than a Mitsu employee. So I don't have much room to work.

Thanks,
Howard

If there is I'm not finding it.
It should be in that section or the 22-110 M/T Case section.

If I understand correctly you have a 1994 Stealth TT/RT.
The assembly part# from production date 6 of 1993 on is MR165353.
List price is $376.65 Your price is $282.49.
My Atlanta warehouse shows stock & I would have the part within 2 business days if your order is placed before noon.

Shipping via UPS ground is FREE since it is over $250.00.
Just mention 3SI.

Sorry I know you were hoping that I had a seal # available.

Thanks,
Howard

Howard,
I am gonna try contacting CRS tomorrow to see if they cant fix my situation and send me what I had ordered. If I get no response or the run around I will take you up on that order. Below are the parts I was needing, and the price comparo thus far seems to pretty much even out.... and with the free shipping it seems that you are the way to go on this one That wait is gonna kill me, but I guess thats what happens when one has this freakin trans.

Rob

Howard, thanks for chiming in. I was afraid of that. Considering at this point I'm not sure if my leak is originating there, I think I'll hold off on that purchase.

Has anyone had a leak from the shift assy.? I dismantled my tranny in January to replace the input bearing/seal, output shaft and try to fix its leak. I paid close attention to sealing the cases, but maybe I needed to apply extra sealant. The leak appears to be coming from the front and high on the tranny.

I sealed the plate the assy. rides on. I'm thinking the leak might be coming from around the shaft itself.

I don't want to pull the tranny just to make another futile attempt to be leak free.

Have you seen it leaking from the shifter yet? It could be the reverse backup switch or that 13 mm bolt near it.Apply some RTV to the threads of these parts druring a rebuild to help prevent leaks.

I think I am going to order what I can from CRS. They should have every thing I need except the inner block ring. I am going to have to use the old ones (not happy but will replace them later on) as time is a major factor right now. I still can't get a hold of CRS. This is frustrateing.

I beleive I have exhausted all of my potential resorces for parts suppliers. But if CRS and other companies can order direct from Getrag then why can't I? I'm going to try that route next. I'll try and get Mitsu to start offering internals through the dealerships. Other companies buy the parts from Getrag, the PNs are all ready in CAPS, CAPS is updated monthly, so why can't they offer parts through the dealer? It wouldn't be hard at all for Mitsu to do this. I'll keep every one posted.
