Default Exedy TT Disc Vs. Stock TT Disc?

Does anyone know if these are the same?
I plan on doing a heavier (ACT) Pressure Plate with stock disc sometime soon.
And Ive heard the Exedy was OEM? But the Exedy can be bought for about 1/2 the price...comments?

Default Re: Exedy TT Disc Vs. Stock TT Disc?

I'd get the exedy, the spring retainers are a lot better on the exedy disc

one of the spring retainers off broke on my mitsu disc, it's kind of hard to explain honestly
