Clutch Release + Fork question - 3000GT/Stealth International Message Center

I'm finishing up installing my Southbend Stage 4 FE and I was gonna put the clutch release on, but I can't get the fork to budge at all. Is that normal, or did I mess up? If I messed up, is there anyway to fix it without dropping the tranny again? Thanks for any help.
