Default Clutch doesn't want to engage after car is warm

never had a problem like this before....

Car runs fine as it's warming up but after driving for about 20 minutes the clutch pedal loses all feel of the engagement point, and it feels like the clutch is still partially out. I pumped the pedal a few times and it went away for a few shifts and then came back worse. The pressure and travel in the pedal don't change.

very strange.

I had a similar problem. Maybe your rear main seal is leaking oil on the clutch.

Check your hydraulic reservoir. It's probably empty (or close to it) because one of your lines has a leak.

So, you let off the clutch pedal and the car doesn't move?

There is often disagreement on what "clutch disengagement" means. To me, a disengaged clutch is when the pedal is pushed down, seperating the flywheel from the pressure plate.

your slave cylinder sounds like its weak, cold= the seal on the piston is seated properly, once it gets warm alows fluid to go by the seal.check for leaks.

Gonna try bleeding the system this weekend. I popped the lid and noticed that the fluid is dark brown, and it was clear a year ago.

Thought you'd all like to know. I cut off the bottom portion of the rear heat shield to re-install it on my car. I did this with a previous rear heatshield too except this time I cut much more off. This was causing my clutch fluid to boil after short drives and was the cause of the problem. I now have some DOT 5 silicone shit in the pipes which has caused no problems yet.
