there were a few VR4's that were auto if i remember reading right. most in japan tho and the awd n/a's that came along with it.

thats cool...very interesting. your going to need the drive shaft and the rear end + axle and diff. from a vr4 at the very least...maybe someone else can chime in

Eh dunno about that but I know you're gonna need the subframe your car should have the studs sticking outfor it but there's alot of work involved in making fwd to awd.

trans seems really cheap though that's pretty awesome.

EDIT: Check this out very cheap too...

Wrong, there were no TT autos. There were some test cars that were rumored, but no production ones. Some people have already used this transmission to convert to AWD auto. It is essentially an auto DSM trans with a different bell housing.

He wants to convert this AWD Auto trans to work with just FWD, not convert his FWD to AWD.

To the original poster, what do you have done to you car? Do you have an auto right now? Do you have a TT conversion done (I'm assuming not). If you are not sure if you are gong to convert to AWD then don't buy this trans, just get a FWD trans to start with. If you already have an auto, just repair it.
