Default 6spd Shifter Reverse stopper not there anymore

I was adjusting my clutch by moving the master rod under the dash. Not sure what happened, but now when I move the shifter to the right and then go ALL THE WAY to get into reverse, I don't get that "STOP" in the gate anymore. Thoughts?

Need this:
AWD Tranny Reverse Detent Damper 94-99 6-spd - Mitsubishi 3000GT / Dodge Stealth Parts
The spring or mechanism inside probably wore out and the nipple isn't protruding anymore.

Yea this piece is basically the 'only' variable, of course when it is working, you can even feel it when pulling up on the shifter lever.

I screwed out my Reverse Detent Damper but it seems to work right. Maybe it produces not enough resistance. I can push the pin with my fingers.
When I shift into reverse gear I feel a small resistance, but its very weak.
