Yes, it does go all the way around, but it is a very small piece of it, and in one pic I have it is only welded to the bearing race area and not the inside of the case at that point.

How are all the tranny holding up, with the plates in them?

I am kinda at a cross rode cause, my motor is out of my car and I would like to get this done, but I don't think I will be able to pull off the plate by my self. Is it hard to pull off the cover that the plate goes on, so I can shipped it off to trevor guy?

If I had the plate would it of stoped this? (More pic are on page 2)

Mines holding up fine. 1.527 60' on 4 DR's lately.

T4's is doing great, have run about 8 1.3's and a dozen or more 1.4's

I was home for a month on leave but I'm back in Korea now. While I was home I went racing twice & managed a couple 10.4's @ 138.

I'll be back home for good in May.

Trevor, did you have your plate welded in while your bearing races were still in the bellhousing?

i am just curious because i see some slight discoloration in your bearings oohnoo. also it looks like the plastic oil guide kinda melted

these are welded in with the bearing in place in order to keep warping down.
