i know it would seem stupid to go from a 25 to a 18 but on the car im trying to get running i have an extra transmission and tcase that is a 18 spline... wondering it it will bolt up to motor with no problems?

yes...if both are 5 speed

18 splines are 5 speeds. You must match the rear end and transfer case.

and the linkage... its a pain. Just sell the 5 speed and hurry the 6 speed.

um 5 speeds are 25 spline as well. Like said, if both 5 speed then it will work just fine.

but notice he has a 94... not a 93...

its not for my 94' i bought a parts car that is a 93 that has a bad tranny the guy was a friend of mine ... he also picked up a blown motor with tranny and tcase he was going to have kormex rebuild his and use the extra tranny to put more towards the core charge... but im thiking maybe the extra tranny is still good! worth a shot

It should work. You're putting a 5-speed transmission and transfercase back into a car that is a 5-speed, not a 6-speed. As long as the tranny is good, why not do it.

be sure to tell whoever you sell the car to that it has an early 18 spline in it
