The Virginia Peninsula Car Club Council, in association with the City of Newport News, invites you to attend the 6th Annual Virginia Fall Classic (VFC). The VFC is a 3 day charity event held to benefit the Children’s Hospital of The King’s Daughters (CHKD) and their facility in Newport News, Virginia. CHKD is a full-service pediatric regional referral center serving southeastern Virginia and Northeastern North Carolina. It was founded in 1961 on the philosophy that children deserve the highest quality of medical care. This year’s event will be held from Friday, Oct. 24th, through Sunday, Oct. 26th.

On Friday, Oct. 24th, there will be a Kasual Kruz-In and Dinner beginning at 4:30 p.m. (rain or shine) at Ferguson Enterprises, Inc., 12500 Jefferson Ave., Newport News, VA. There will be food (proudly donated by Outback Steakhouse), music, prizes, cars, trucks, and much, more. Space is limited, so please RSVP by Oct. 1st. The cost for the dinner is $7.50 per person. We are also planning a “Trick or Trunk” for the kids.

On Saturday, Oct. 25th, the Open Car, Truck & Bike Show will be held at Newport News Park (NNP), 13564 Jefferson Ave., Newport News, VA. There will be hundreds of interesting cars, trucks, and motorcycles; display vehicles; music; food and craft vendors; an auction; children’s activities; and much more! Register before Oct. 1st and receive a free gift! Gates open at 8:00 a.m., with registration continuing until 11:30 a.m. Show participant plaques will be given to the first 300 registered vehicles. Judging ends at 1:00 p.m., and award presentation will begin at 3:30 p.m…with numerous specialty awards to be presented. Entry fees for the car show are $20 for the first vehicle, and $10 for each additional vehicle (from the same registered owner). The rain date for the car show is Sunday, Oct. 26th.

Sunday, Oct. 26th will be the annual “Fall Fun Run.” We will take a slow, laid-back cruise through some of the most beautiful and historic scenery that this area has to offer. We will meet at the NNP Ranger Station, and head out at 1:00 p.m. The route that we will take will be announced the day of the cruise. The entry fee for the Fall Fun Run is $10 per vehicle. Please note that if the car show on Saturday is postponed until Sunday due to inclement weather, the Fall Fun Run will be cancelled.

i want to see some guys from the forum out there i plan on goin and askin the club im in to join along im giving plenty of tim in advance because i want to set up a 3s meet on one of those days either before or after the show. gimme your opinion guys

ok well what do you think of a meet and what day should we have it? im tryin to find out where people are so i can get a central location so its a little easier

i will not be organizing a meet since ive had limited replies to this thread ive picked up other obligations, but they might change so there is no deifinite if i will make it to the show or not

I just bought a Stealth and i think it would be kinda cool going to a meet, especially one thats really close to me, if you guys do have a meet ill try to attend

I hosted a central va meet a while back hade like 30 people sign up and 5 show up

I may plan a NOVA meet soon since that is where everyomne that showed up was from. I wish it was closer or I would go
