Default Window is Broken!! Need help please!

Hey all... my window just recently started to go slower and slower up and down and then now it gets stuck halfway up or halfway down... I figured okay maybe its off track or maybe the motor is dying so I took off my door panel and checked it out.... It wasnt the motor or the track.... its the wire cable that I guess pulls the window up and down... its right in the middle of the window on the track in the middle, I noticed its ripped up and falling apart which made them get all inter-twined and its whats causing the window to jam.

My question is.. what part is that and how do I go about replacing it?? Does the inner door trim come off somehow? How do I get that peice out and replace it?? I really need help please. my poor VR4 interior is getting soaked everyday from rain.

You need a regulator, it comes with the track and cable.

Take of your door panel, cut the plastic from the factory. Put your window DOWN, unbolt the glass. Take your glass out and place it on a blanket out of harms way. Unbolt the regulator, the tracks will collapse without the wire tension, it can then fold out. Then repeat in the opposite order to install. In all I would say under an hour to do, there is always that little catch that holds you up. See if there is a write up for any more step by step info if needed. That is the general Idea for doing it though.

EDIT: To remove your door panel you need to take of all the visible screws, then pop out the lower trim by sliding it towards the rear of the car, it will kinda of just pop out. There will then be two screws there, then the final would be the trim under your door handle. You then need to wiggle the card around to unplug your switches and speaker and so on.
