The Story of the NOOB and the IAC - 3000GT/Stealth International Message Center

This is the story of "WHAT COULD GO WRONG" and "WHAT COULD GO ON" as someone might undertake the following tasks on our cars. It all started with the IDEA to attack the IAC and ended up being a lot of odds and ends work as well. Since I've read so much serious stuff elsewhere and on the forum I decided to make my story a bit comical since these trials and tribulations can often be very TRYING on the mind as we all know. I hope you all enjoy it and actually get some useful ideas and information from it and PLEASE EMAIL or PM me if you want to FLAME me about it or if you just wanna give props. Here are the tasks covered:
Replace and Troubleshoot IAC
Replace Fuel Filter
Repair Negative Battery Cable (easy fix; found during work to be needed)
Replace motorized factory broke ass antenna
Restore windshield wiper arms to NEW LOOK
Repair front windshield wiper washer pump and hoses
Replace the drip line weatherstripping at base of glass of door windows

lmao, thats great man. Good write up. My new IAC will be going in in a few weeks

along with a rebuilt ECU

Edit: You know Rick James is dead, right? lol

Did that car get that rusty just from the sea/air down there??

LOL - No, I just TIGHTENED them till it didn't move anymore with one extra warrior push and thats it.
Rust - I guess the humidity down here really took its toll. I'm pretty sure the car has always been in this area. While I was in there it really made me want to disassemble a lot more and resurface, repaint etc.., but thats a whole nother story.

I guess only like 20 or so people read the entire thing, cause I put hit counters at the first page and last page. The first page shows 101+ and the last page showed like 24+ just now. LOL - Maybe that shows me how many dial-up users there still are out there cause some of my pics are big.
