No harness, without a cage.

If you are looking to add the harness just primarily for added restraint then you can weld in a bar or attach the harness to the rear tower or rear sway bar if you have one of those.
If you want added safety it is best to put in a roll cage even a partial cage would fit fine. I am 6' 1" so you have four inches on me but I have no problem fitting into one equipped with a full cage just takes a little more effort.

The reason for no harness without a cage is simple. A harness holds you directly in place. In the event of a rollover guess what happens? Roof comes down on your head. If there is a cage, the roof wont come crashing down on you and kill you.

ok well like i said im a big guy ive been in a 3000 with a full cage and didnt fit to well. i guess depends on how the cage is designed and how tightly the runners fit against the car. any places to look or prices?

Don't put a cage in your car unless you want to wear a helmet everytime you drive.

I am 6'5" too and I just couldn't get the bar far enough rearward without my head being dangerously close to it.

Did you ever find a cage you liked? I am looking for one now myself. Company below sells chromly 8 points that weigh around 70 lbs. Anyone have one from this company? I am looking for the least amount of weight as well as meeting NHRA rules for sub 11.5 cars.
