you could use a heatgun or haidryer to reseal them so it doesnt damage the resin. I was planning on trying something similer to this but painting it to the body color when i repainted the car next spring

thats my intention, to paint them black, as is my car. looking like i might have a chance to do it on weekend...warmer weather then
only thing im a bit worried about is the later setting of the lights. since if the cover is too tight around the lenses it wont let them move...
Does anyone know what kind of silicone or other thing to use for sealing? i know usually people dont add extra, but i have to, since i had/have to remove some of it to work with the light.

I have had my glass lights apart 3 times now.I've used fish tank "water tight" and a few other types. and i still get leaks. I just had a windshield replaced, the stuff they used was called auto tight. just look for windshield adhesive. thats what I'm going to use next time i get a leak.
