Try Parts.com
I was looking myself to replace the black (now deteriorating and faded gray) trim just below the driver and passenger side windows...which isn't exactly the weathers tripping, but you probably know what I mean. Anyway, try Parts.com for OEM parts.

Well, two things...
3sx is a great vendor. When they do all the work of looking up part numbers and putting together kits to refurb things on the car, they need to make some money on it so yeah it will be more expensive than buying the parts yourself. If you know what to buy. If you have CAPS, and if you can create a parts list on your own, you can get it cheaper from an on-line Mitsu dealer. That goes for any vendor, not just 3sx. If you can't look it all up yourself, then you have to pay somewhere for whoever did figure it all out and then put it online with nice pics and a description. Second, 3sx sells primarily OEM parts, sometimes they have their own parts that will replace OEM but for comparing to a vendor like Parts.com, remember that 3sx is selling you an OEM part whereas Parts.com may or may not be. So, that's at least two reasons why 3sx is more than Parts.com, and why that may be ok for some peeps. 3sx is one of the best vendors we have; sometimes you have to take more than just the price into account and look at what you're getting for the price. Disclaimer: I have a 3sx pen. And I buy from Cherry Hill Mitsu for most OEM stuff. Whatever works best at the time. |
