Default Remove Plastic covering Main Gauge Cluster

Hey,

So I am putting on some glow overlays on the gauges and I can not remove the speedometer due to the odometer reset button. The tip is too wide to just pull the plastic cover over. Was wondering if there is a certain way to remove, would hate to break something or have to modify something to remove.

Thanks in advance!
