Rear wiper won't turn off!

The rear wiper will not turn off at all unless the switch in the dash is removed.

I ordered another switch off of ebay and the exact same thing happens.

for now, i have a whole in the garnish where the rear wiper switch is located with the harness hanging out. so if i need to clear the rear windshield i can.

Should i order a brand new switch from the dealer?

Same thing happened to me. I pushed the button to see if the wiper worked right after I bought it, and it didnt turn off. I had to pull the flug from the motor to turn it off. I bought a new one from the dealer i think it was 15-25 bucks popped it in and it worked fine after. This might help in pulling it out buts its pretty simple though Stealth 316 - Instrument Panel Removal

no just buy one on e-bay why waste money. my switch broke before too.

if its 25 bucks from the dealer than yea buy from the dealer but i dont think that their that cheap.

i have a used one installed right now i got off of ebay and it still happens.

but we are sure its the switch?

Polished down glass = need for wipers eliminated.

no need for wipers = stealth mod the arm, and d/c the motor in the hatch.

how does one polish down glass? my windshield could use it, it has sooo many knicks from rocks over the years.

I have the same problem with mine, Someone mentioned the rear wiper relay, Does anyone know where this is located?
