Default Problem, Tour/Sport light Blinking....

I was driving my car yesterday and realized the Tour/Sport ECS light started blinking i was wondering if i am damaging anything on my car if i keep driving it or what is wrong with it, i dont want to mess up the suspension

you wont mess it up, just possibly means your shocks are shot.

Try taking the caps off the shocks in the engine bay and unplugging and re-plugging the plugs for the ecs back in. This worked for me as mine must have been a loose contact.

and look for any broken wires under the strut covers.

If the Tour/Sport light blinking bothers you, just disconnect the ECS control unit in the trunk. It's really easy to do. There is a write-up somewhere around here, but I'm too lazy to find it right now.

When you get the suspension problems worked out, just reconnect the ECS.

why unplug it? why not fix it, you sometimes need that computer to read the codes, it shouldn't cost you much to fix it correctly

Because on a lot of cars, you get bucking and missing at low rpm when the
ecs signal is messed up feeding into the ecu.

funny, never heard of that, nor did it happen to me when my ecs comp was going out. Not calling you a lier but nothing happened to me.

It doesn't happen to all of them, but several people have chased mis fire
gremlins at low rpm, and found it was from the ecs computer.... And I was one of them
