Default New to the forum and need advice on buying a vr4

Hey everybody. I had a '94 3000GT SL that got wrecked a couple years ago and now I'm considering getting a vr4. I've found one for sale that's pretty nice, its a '97 vr4 and it has a little over 100k miles on it and I'd be getting it for a little over $9,000. The vehicle is in excellent condition.

My question is am I going to be opening a can of worms if I get this vehicle? Will there be more repairs and maintenance done compared to my old SL (because I used to fix that thing all the time)? Is it a bad idea to get a vr4 with over 100k miles? I love 3000GTs but I'm not really looking to dump a lot of money into my next car and I wanted the advice of other vr-4 owners. I tried searching other threads but couldn't find good answers. Any advice? Thanks guys!
