A 4 pin normally closed relay is what you wan't to use; easy to conceal in the inside of the steering column. There is thick positive wire (red with a white stripe if I am not mistaken) going up to the ignition switch, place the relay inline with it; with a switch you can then toggle to open or close the circuit.
