Time to bring this thread back to life. We were able to get all the damaged parts off the car as well as get the parts car's donor parts. Now it's time to let the body shop get the inner fender structure back into its proper location and it should be ready for installation.

Donor Car stripped of the front-end
![]() and then a couple weeks later.... MY car with the new front end! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() So i also got fog lights in GOOD condition from the other car off, lots of miscellaneous interior pieces transferred... I replaced the crash sensors, since the one was all mangled, and did lots of various little things here and there. The new front end also replaced the broken hood latch i had before the accident...good things Now i'm going to start getting everything ready for paint. |

Also... My rear-defrost hasn't worked... I checked under the hood and sure enough there wasnt even a fuse for it... so i popped one in, and it still doesnt work. I just push the button in, and nothing happens, it doesnt light up.
I was going to try replacing the actual button to see if that helped, but if you guys have any other recommendations, that would be great. everything seems fine back where the cables attach to the defroster |

Thanks guys. The cool thing is that alot of the little things that were broke or missing in my car, were actually in good shape on the other car... and all the crappy stuff on the other car was good on my car
![]() So i got a coin-holder, a new top for the center console since mine had a hole in it... a couple pieces of trim, etc... It worked out really nicely, except for the passenger side window regulator... both of them are hosed, haha... but now i have a spare drivers-side regulator in good shape Last edited by Malechite : 04-28-2008 at 01:53 PM. |
