Default Fog lights on at any time

How can I wire my OEM fog lights so that I can turn them on at the push of the button, whether the headlights are on or not. I would like them to be on with my parking lights. Anyone done this mod before?

I'm sure theres an easier way, but since I had a different need it made sense for what i did. what I did is I ran new wires to and from the switch, bypassing the factory wiring settup to a relay, which is then connected to the fog lights (or anything else you want switched by it!)

Search the forums. There was a very popular thread on this very subject about 2 years ago, complete with instructions and how-to pics.

What he said. It takes a piece of wire 4-5 inches long and ten minutes to do. I did mine about two weeks ago. Also did the one that turns the snake eyes on with the parking lights. Looks good in the evenings.

Mitsubishi Re: Fog lights on at any time

I used 16gau. I had an old amp installation kit lying around so I used the remote wire. Heres the new link with the 99 bumper: 99 bumper with fog mod - 3000GT/Stealth International Photo Gallery

http://moojohn.com/stealth/fogmods/ I used that page to help me. Overall an easy mod, the only problem I had was keeping the wire "tapped" into the tail light relay.
