It is the engine temperature gauge.
Manuel transmission.
It will go but the power will be restricted if the needle on the gauge is below or close to cold.
But when it does warm up it releases all the restricted power.
And it doesn't mater if its cold or hot out it will still restrict power until the gauge has left cold.
so it is a safety or something?

my guess is a bad sensor, something with the heat is causing it to work properly. it seems to be misreading until its warm causing the weak power

know What sensor it could be haven't had a tune up since i got the car.

for the scratches in the windows pm mywetdream ...His family ownes a glass company and was telling me about some items they use to get rid of scratches in the glass.
