Default Re: Door lock / power to door problem

My driver's side switch will unlock, but not lock. And my passenger side door will both unlock and lock the doors as it should. What the heck could be going wrong? Sounds like this is a more common problem than I expected. Any suggestions on how to fix this issue would be greatly appreciated.

Well I get to add to the mix. My locks stopped working as well when I removed the doors to paint my car. Someone who had the car before me had spliced the blue wire in the harness on the drivers side. I reconnected it but it still won't unlock or lock. What I notice is that I can hear the relay click when I press lock on the switch but not unlock. Also my lock actuaries are both very warm, Im guessing from a constant current. I've checked the fuse, the relay, and both switches. I'm considering it's somewhere around where the harness come out of the car.
